Can you imagine the thought of having to move out of your home? We understand that older adults are at their happiest when they can continue to live in their own home, so we play a huge part in making that happen. We provide a service to older adults which fits around their lifestyle, is perfectly flexible and allows them to carry on living independently in their own home. We perfectly match every one of our Befrienders & Companions to our clients, often sharing similar interests or hobbies.
What does a Befriender & Companion do?
This is not a job, it is a vocation and to do this job you will need to be kind, compassionate, with a big heart! It doesn’t matter how old you are, what job you have done in the past, or if you have never worked. If you can make an older person’s life brighter, feel great satisfaction from doing it, you are exactly who we are looking for.
