Who would you be joining?
We are advertising on behalf of an award-winning provider who focus on a bespoke companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship. Their Director moved to the area in 2002, he notices a real shortage of high-quality person-centred care for older people locally. His passion is to deliver an improved quality of life and increased independence in an older person’s own homes, peace of mind for their families, a happy, engaged and fulfilled team. They have taken all the necessary steps to ensure their team are safe at this time too.
What would you be doing?
By becoming a Befriender & Companion you will be helping an older person in your local community not only combat loneliness, but also keep them safe. Everyone’s needs differ, some of their clients are more independent than others, you will be carefully matched to an older adult in your local area needing companionship and support. This could vary from helping them to get up, get dressed, have breakfast to preparing a meal or getting some shopping for them. To be suitable for this role, are you:

- Willing to help someone with personal care needs when required?
