Part-Time Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, job vacancy, London Borough of Twickenham

Location

This job vacancy is based between the London Boroughs of Hounslow & Twickenham, South East London.  Situated close to Richmond Train Station on the District Line and Hounslow East on the Piccadilly Line.  It is a great location as it is only 10 miles from the centre of London itself.

Key Information

  • £9.93 per hour, FREE DBS, Pension & lots of retail discount schemes
  • 30 Hours per week, 8am – 4pm
  • Part- Time 4 Days per week, with some flexibility needed.

Therapy Assistant

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who is really keen to explore a career and learn more about delivering Rehabilitation Therapy to individuals who have a neurological condition or illness. You will get the chance to carry out therapy treatments with the guidance and leadership of a multidisciplinary team and be guided and directed by your team of Therapists. You will carry out assessments with clients and work with them so that they understand the Therapy programme & what is expected of them.

Duties

  • Accurate record keeping and clinical/therapy notes.
  • Maintaining records & general Administration
  • To act as an advocate for people with neurorehabilitation and care needs.
  • Ensure residents are fully involved in their therapy & decision making.
  • To maintain & develop your clinical knowledge through supervision & training.
