The newly opening School will be located just north of Anfield and East of Bootle and Orrell Park, in a mainly residential area. Bootle itself is just 9 minutes / 2.1 miles, Liverpool City Centre via the A59, is 14 Minutes / 13.9 Miles, and Knowsley is just 13 Minutes / 5 Miles away via the A580. The School is just off the A59/A5058

You would be joining a unique provider, who set their standards very high indeed, they are proud to own a small group of Outstanding Early Years Schools and Colleges. Specialising in providing personalised Care & Education to children and Adults with a range of physical, learning, neurological, sensory, complex health needs, and cerebral palsy. As a group they provide a very stimulating and homely environment where children with Special Education Needs (SEN), moderate Learning Disabilities, or social, emotional, and mental Health difficulties can thrive. The School is a small 6 Bedded facility keeping it very homely and person centred.
As their Speech & Language Therapist you will lead on service development initiatives and evidence-based practice around dysphagia management. You will clinically support other speech and language colleagues at the school, lead on training specific eating and drinking needs and work towards engraining practice amongst all school team members.
- IDDSI Framework minimum level C RCSLT Dysphagia Competency Framework
- Knowledge of supporting people with Total communication approach.
- Supporting the use of AAC
- Qualified Speech & Language Therapist with a HCPC registration
