Adult Support Worker, job, Kidderminster, Worcester – No Experience Needed – Car Driver

We are looking for a Full Time, Adult Support Worker, living close to the Kidderminster area.  This job vacancy is based slightly out of Kidderminster along the A442 towards Romsley, Worcestershire.

Key Information

  • £9.06 per hour + mileage (22p-39p) + benefits.
  • Full-time hours, 35 hours per week
  • Shifts on a Rota basis include – Days 8am-10pm, Waking Nights 10pm – 8am

Your Role

You would be supporting a young male adult, who is embarking on a journey of independence and is moving into his first home.  How very exciting for him!  This gentleman does have Learning Disabilities, Autism, and some challenging behaviour.  You will be pivotal in supporting him settle into his new home, as well as within the local community and engaging him in any local activities and helping him with this social interaction.  You will help him with his day-to-day home life, including helping him with his routines, household tasks and making sure he keeps on top of his bills.

Supporting this young man on his journey to independence will be amazing to be part of.  You will have a positive personality and a strong desire to make a difference in his life and be his ambassador guiding him to be as independent as he can be, whilst keeping him safe in his own home.
