Positive Behaviour Support Development Practitioner

Full-time, permanent job vacancy, Positive Behaviour Support Development Practitioner (Learning Disabilities), Derby, Derbyshire - car driver essential.

This role is home based and will require you to be available to travel to all services as and when required. We have services in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, East Riding, Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, and the North West.

You would be joining an organisation that provides care, support and enablement for adults living with Learning/Physical Disabilities and Mental Health conditions. Developing person centred support at all stages from treatment, to discharge from hospital, to support in the community. Job Role

As their PBS Development Practitioner, you will be part of an expanding Specialist Team and you will work with other agencies in order to provide the best support for service users. You will generate Positive Behaviour Support plans for service users and assist in assessments. The role will also involve monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of practice and interventions. Ensuring compliance with CQC regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines. You will be a role model to your team and display the company’s values in all you do.

  • Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) framework and assessing behaviour.
