Quality Lead Nurse (Hospice), Barking

£38K per annum

35-hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Quality Lead Nurse living close to the Barking area of London. We have an exciting opportunity to work for an exceptional charity who provide palliative care to children living with life limiting and life-threatening conditions, providing comfort to both children and their families.

The role is close to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). It may also be commutable from the Barking, Stratford, Romford, Ilford and Dagenham areas of London.

A special service

Our client, a registered charity, specializes in providing high-quality palliative and complex care for children up to 19 years old in a warm loving haven where they can make as many amazing memories whilst having access to essential medical support. From clinical care to music therapy, to end of life care, they always ensure that the children and their families are at the centre of their care.

As their Quality Lead Nurse, you will ensure that their Clinical Governance and monitoring processes are fully compliant with regulatory requirements. You will be integral in the development and implementation of clinical policies including auditing processes and achieving best practice. Above all, you will have a very child centred focus and what is best for the children will be at the centre of all you do.

I would love this role, what are the requirements?

  • You will hold a Nursing or relevant degree to Clinical Governance or Audit;
  • You will have excellent knowledge and experience of dealing with Risk Management, Clinical Governance, Policy and Audit;
  • You will be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of health policy and application to practice;
  • Above all, you will be innovative and passionate about working as part of such a special service.
