Registered Care Home Manager, Scunthorpe

£30K - £35K per annum DOE

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9-5 (some weekend supervision)

We are looking for a talented and dedicated Registered Home Manager living close to the Scunthorpe area of North Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join residential homes who provide specialist Dementia care for younger and older adults.  

This role may also suit an individual living in Doncaster, Grimsby, Goole, Gainsborough and surrounding areas.

A wonderful place to work

You will work oversee two sites in the area, one specialises in Dementia and the newest home looking after people with complex care needs and mental health conditions. They are set in beautiful, idyllic grounds, providing safe and comfortable places for residents to live. They have created a calm and peaceful atmosphere to give the residents the best quality of life, they use specialist dementia furniture, lighting and signage throughout the home, helping every resident flourish as an individual. The facilities are fantastic as well, they have a vibrant events calendar to keep residents smiling and there is delicious home cooked food for all to enjoy.

As their Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the homes. You will have residents at the heart of what you do and always strive for the highest standards of care. You will manage a large staff team and you will inspire them to be the best they can be. You will have excellent communication skills and be a positive representative of the home as you will take an active part in the local community.

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • You will have 3-5 years-experience in a Registered Manager role;
  • Ideally you will have NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent;
  • You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations to ensure the highest standards are met.
