Registered Care Manager, Brighton

£28K - £35K per annum

40 hours per week, 52 weeks including weekends and bank holidays

40 days annual leave per annum including bank holidays

We are looking for an inspirational Registered Care Manager living close to the Brighton area of East Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Residential service for young adults founded on wonderful values where young people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours receive the very best in education, care and support.

You will be overseeing the day to day running of several houses, ensuring the staff teams have great direction and a positive role model for guidance.

As their Registered Manager, you would oversee and manage your team and take responsibility for the development of the adult residential provision. You would maintain high standards of care practice in line with the Essential Standards of Quality and compliance, ensuring that each young person has the best opportunity to achieve all their goals in life.

What experience and skills are required?

  • You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent, or NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • You will have experience in working with young people with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health conditions and challenging behaviours.
  • You will have previous management experience and have good knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance regulations.
