We provide a range of privately and self-funded services to older adults in the Dundee and South Angus areas, helping clients remain independent in their own homes or by simply providing companionship and friendship in their later years. With a minimum visit of one hour, this also means our team can deliver the very best support to our clients. This is an opportunity to be Registered Manager of a brand-new start up branch and being part of this unique organisation is very exciting. It means that you can play a key role in shaping the future of the service from the beginning. You will have the autonomy to put your own stamp on the service, set the standards and drive the business forward and take it to the next level. You will promote best practice to a team of home carers, and you will be an ambassador for the service. You will meet with clients and families to conduct assessments and build bespoke packages tailored to each individual. Furthermore, you will oversee all compliance, taking responsibility for the wellbeing, retention, supervision, and training of home carers.
- Experience working within homecare/domiciliary care is essential.
- SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
- SVQ Care Services Leadership & Management at SVQ Level 4 or be willing to work towards.
- Excellent people and leadership skills.
- Great understanding of safeguarding and CQC legislation.
- A vision of what “Outstanding” Homecare should look like.
