Registered Children’s Home Manager, Bournemouth, £40-50K per annum, Plus Bonus/Profit Share, Relocation Assistance Available, Candidates must be Car Drivers

We are looking for a Full Time, Permanent, Registered Children’s Home Manager, to initially open a 6 Bed Children’s Home in Bournemouth, Dorset with the view to progressing with the company to play a pivotal role in opening /commissioning new services in the future.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for progression to Operations Management level.

The Provider

Established 14 years ago, the company was founded by one woman, determined to change the way support is delivered and the impact that they can make, to individual’s lives as a Care Provider. A hard worker, she is now looking for someone to form a strategic partnership, to build upon her successes to date, and assist her in making an impact within Children’s Residential Care.  You will be fully supported in your new job role by the Directors, HR Recruitment & Training Team.

The Home

The Home is Registered to provide support to a maximum of six children and is located just outside Bournemouth.  This will be a flagship home, a new venture into Children’s Services, providing tailored support for Children and Young People with complex behavioural and emotional needs.

Are you the Person we are looking for?

  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management
  • Extensive background in working in Children’s Residential Settings.
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of Ofsted inspection framework
  • Working knowledge & understanding of care standards and regulations in Children’s Homes
  • Competent in setting up relevant policies and procedures
  • Excellent at working with local authorities and outside agencies.
