Registered Children’s Home Manager, Sheffield

£30K - £35K per annum DOE

Full-time, Mon – Fri 9am-5pm plus 1 weekend per month + 1 weekend on call

Are you an experienced and talented Registered Children’s Home Manager living close to the Sheffield area of South Yorkshire? This is an exciting opportunity to join a residential service for young people living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). 

  • You will have at least 2 years’ management experience and you will have been OFSTED registered;
  • You will have experience working within a residential environment and supporting children and younger adults with learning disabilities;
  • You will have your Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or equivalent;
  • You will also be a car driver.

Our client supports children and young adults with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviour within a residential home environment to live their life to the fullest. They have a unique approach to the support they provide to the children in their care, everyone is carefully trained to ensure all the individuals they support can reach their full potential, have self-confidence and are able to turn their hopes and dreams into reality.

As their Registered Manager, you will be pivotal in the day to day running of the home and you will be responsible for up to 5 young people. We are not just looking for a Manager, we are looking for a true leader, someone who can inspire others and lead the way in shaping the way their support is delivered. You will be supporting and mentoring your team to ensure that you are all making a difference to everyone you support, enabling them to achieve positive outcomes through your creative and passionate leadership qualities.
