Registered Children’s Home Manager, Macclesfield

Up to £40K per annum DOE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Registered Children’s Home Manager living close to the Macclesfield area of Cheshire. You could be joining a fantastic children’s residential service who provide support to children living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviours.

As their Registered Manager, you will oversee a 4-bed home for children aged 10-18. You will have the autonomy to make the home the best it can possibly be. You will create a positive environment where you and your team will place the emotional well-being of the young people at the heart of the service and help them achieve the goals in their lives.

What skills & qualifications are required?

  • You will have your Level 5 in Leadership and Management, or equivalent;
  • You will a minimum 2-years’ experience managing a children’s residential service;
  • You will also have evidence of at least 2 Ofsted inspections achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” results;
  • You will also be a car driver will access to a vehicle.

Above all, you will be a positive role model with excellent leadership skills. You will have a pro-active nature with a passion for changing the lives of young people.
