Registered Children’s Home Manager, Bristol

Up to £38K per annum DOE

Full-time, 40-hours per week

We are looking for a Registered Children’s Home Manager in the Bristol area. You would be joining a special residential and educational setting supporting children and young people aged 7-19 living with special educational needs and disabilities.

We’re looking for someone to support our client’s amazing children and young people grow and flourish. Be part of a specialist school, set up to be a haven for these young people. The school is Ofsted ‘Outstanding’- and was founded by a CEO who is a passionate advocate for children & young adults with learning difficulties. As their Registered Manager, you will lead a positive and vibrant home where every child and young person is given the care, support and levels of challenge needed to develop not just their academic abilities, but also their self-confidence, life skills and independence. You will be an inspirational role model who will ensure that all standards set by OFSTED are exceeded.

What skills & experience are required?

  • You will have Level 3 Residential Child Care or equivalent;
  • You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young Peoples services, or equivalent;
  • You will have experience working with children or young people with learning disabilities in a residential setting and experience in a management role;
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • It is essential you drive due to the location of this service.
