Registered Children’s Home Manager, Ipswich
£40K per annum
We are looking for a talented female Registered Children’s Home Manager living close to the Ipswich area of Suffolk. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be a part of a brand-new children’s home service and play a key role in creating a positive future for vulnerable children who have experienced sexual exploitation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a special service who put the children they support at the heart of all they do. Each of their existing homes is rated as either “Outstanding” or “Good” by Ofsted which is amazing.
As their Registered Manager, you will autonomy to put your own stamp on the role and you will be pivotal in getting the home up and running. You will be responsible for up to 7 young girls, creating a positive environment and therapeutic care to help each girl achieve their goals and reach developmental milestones in their lives. You will lead your team to ensure that all the individual needs of the children are met at all times.
What experience and qualifications are required?
- You will hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent;
- You will hold a Level 5 Leadership & Management;
- You will have a minimum of two years management experience of working with young people in a care setting.
- Above all, you will have a passion for improving the lives of vulnerable young people and creating a brighter future for every child.
