Registered Children’s Home Manager, Preston

£34K - £36K per annum DOE

Full-time, 42-hours per week + on call duties

We are looking for a talented Registered Children’s Home Manager living close to the Preston area of Lancashire. You could be joining a special organisation who provide residential care for children and young people living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

They ensure that all the children they support have the same opportunities as other children and they provide positive experiences and a creative curriculum so that every child can be the best they can be and achieve all their dreams.

As their Registered Manager, you will be overseeing a 6-bed home and you will oversee a strong staff team, grow within the business and have the autonomy to lead the service towards an Outstanding rating. You will create a positive environment to help each young person achieve their goals and reach developmental milestones in their lives. You will lead your team to ensure that all the individual needs of the children are met at all times.

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • You will hold a minimum Level 3 in Children & Young People, or equivalent, and be willing to work towards Level 5;
  • You will have experience of managing a children’s residential service or you will be a very strong Deputy who has lots of experience in a similar service and is ready for the next step in their career;
  • It is essential that you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
