We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to join a new provider of children's residential and community outreach services for children and families close to the Oldham area of Greater Manchester.
The role is based around a 20-minute commute from Oldham via the A62 and is also commutable from other areas of Greater Manchester including Middleton, Ashton-under-Lyne, or Failsworth.
- £42K - £50K per annum depending on experience.
- Full-time hours, 37-hours per week.
The Provider
We are recruiting on behalf of a new start-up company with fantastic values and ambitious aims for the future. They provide bespoke care and support to the families of children or adults living with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Their management team has a wealth of experience within the Learning Disabilities, challenging behaviours, social work, and adoption, and each member of the team vow not to give up on any person. They have already grown in other parts of the UK, so there will be opportunities for the right candidate to develop into potential Operations Manager roles in the future.
The Home
As their Registered Manager, you will lead a 1-bedded children’s home for a child with challenging behaviours. You will help obtain OFSTED registration, set high standards throughout the home, and be an inspirational role model to a team made up of a Team Leader and Support Workers. You will be key in providing supervision and management, but also ensuring the welfare of the young person in your care helping them towards a bright, positive future.
Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or working towards.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager with excellent OFSTED knowledge.
- Car Driver essential.
