Full-time, Registered Manager Children’s Services (Complex Care) job vacancy, Ayr.
This role is based in Ayr but may also suit someone living in a nearby local area. It is a 29-minute/18-mile commute from Kilmarnock via the A77.
Key Information & Criteria
- £30K per annum DOE.
- SVQ 4 in Children and Young People or equivalent – essential.
- Must hold or be working towards an SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care/Leadership & Management Award.
- 2 year’s managerial experience in a children’s and young person’s care setting.
- Track record of growing a care business.
- Car Driver essential.
Our aim is simple, to deliver the highest quality of support to children & young people living in their own homes with Autism, Complex Needs, physical disabilities, and challenging behaviours. We only want to do the best for the young people at the heart of our service and we pride ourselves on providing quality support both at home and in the community.
Our services will be bespoke to the individual and centred around their care plan. Therapies such as Hydrotherapy or animal therapy can be facilitated, if that is what is best suited for that child’s needs. We can support with learning life skills, providing personal care, and providing opportunities for each young person to experience a new activity that they aspire to, this can range from skiing to attending concerts. We don’t just provide support; we want to see smiles too.
As our Registered Manager, you will be central to us delivering our high-quality care and support, and responsible for the day to day running of the service. You will ensure that the service is compliant with relevant legislation and regulations, and you will be an excellent leader who represents our company values to our team and to all clients. There will also be exciting opportunities to help us grow the service which you will be key to.
