We have an amazing opportunity for a Registered Manager of Children's Social Services for a 5 Family assessment unit based near Canterbury, Kent. OFSTED Rating Outstanding. 

We are looking for someone with a positive personality and a passion in helping people to reach their potential and safeguarding children. 

Your Role

Working with Local Authority Social Workers, Guardians, Solicitors and Courts across the UK to provide unbiased, in-depth qualified assessments for families in a residential environment.

The providers assessments form an interactive, evidence based process considering all aspects of an individual's parenting capacity and are complimented with various assessment techniques to review progress.

Provider Services 

They provide a range of Residential Assessments, Community Placements and Viability Assessments.

The residential services are aimed at young parents under the age of 16, care-leavers, parents with mental health concerns or learning disabilities and parents with drug and alcohol related issues. Within the community, they provide parenting assessments, parenting programmes and support for families living in their own homes.

Essential Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services, or other recognised social work qualifications
  • Qualification in management at least at level 4
  • Minimum of two years’ experience relevant to residential care within the last five years
  • Minimum one year’s experience supervising and managing professional staff.
