Registered Nurse, Cambridge

£26,565 - £35,577 per annum

Full-time hours, 40 hours per week

We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) living close to the Cambridge area of Cambridgeshire. You would be joining a specialist provider of education and care for children and young adults living with severe and profound communication difficulties associated with conditions such as cerebral palsy, autism, brain injury and degenerative disorders.

As their Registered Nurse, you will ensure the health and well-being of the young people you support. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual healthcare needs and you will administer medication safely and effectively. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about inspiring young people to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.

What skills and experience are required?

  • You will be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Current NMC Registration in one or more of the following disciplines; Learning Disabilities, RNMH, General Adult, Paediatrics at Diploma or Degree level;
  • You will have experience of working with working with children and young people with special education needs and high-level support needs including behaviours that challenge;
  • You will also have experience of working with ASD, PMLD and SLD.
