Registered Service Manager (Learning Disabilities), Bath
£35,500 – £37,000 per annum DOE
Full-time, 40-hours per week
We are looking for a Residential Service Manager to oversee the day to day management of an 8-bed service for young adults aged 19-25 years, approx. 13 miles commute from Bath area. You would be joining a specialist residential, and educational setting, supporting young adults with profound learning and physical disabilities.
The home is CQC ‘Outstanding’- and was founded by a CEO who was a very passionate advocate for young adults with learning difficulties. When he set up the company, he founded it saying, “Things can be done better. We can make a difference.”

As their Service Manager you will be someone there to support the young people to grow and flourish as well as Managing your staff team who will look at you for leadership and inspiration. You will be part of a specialist service, set up to be a haven for young people to learn, grown and exceed.
You will lead a positive and vibrant home where every young person is given the care, support and levels of challenge needed to develop not just their academic abilities, but also their self-confidence, life skills and independence. You will be an inspirational role model who will ensure that all standards set by CQC are exceeded.
What skills & experience are required?
- You will have Level 3 Health and Social Care;
- You will hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or be working towards this;
- You will have experience working with young people with learning disabilities in a residential setting and experience in a supervisory role for at least 2 years;
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
