Rehabilitation Support Worker, Guildford
We are looking for Rehabilitation Support Workers close to the Guildford area of Surrey for our client, a 58-year-old gentleman, living in his own adapted home with 24-hour support. He experienced a severe brain injury just over ten years ago. He has since acquired a complex brain injury and associated learning and behavioural difficulties.
We currently have bank hours available, shifts range from 5 to 24 hours and cover weekdays, evenings, weekends and sleeping nights.
We are seeking enthusiastic and patient individuals to work with the gentleman in implementing agreed therapy plans. You should have the ability to motivate and encourage our client in his continued rehabilitation. An interest in cycling, art, music and cookery would be an advantage.
You will be part of a team working with our organisation. However, you will be employed by directly by the gentleman himself.
What experience do you need to be a Rehabilitation Support Worker?
Whilst past experience working with someone with a severe brain injury would also be an advantage, your motivation, personality and willingness to learn are of equal importance.
Due to the nature of the role you must hold a full UK driving licence.
Hours & Rates of Pay:
- Bank shifts range from 5 to 24 hours and cover weekdays, evenings, weekends and sleeping nights.
- Excellent rates of £10.00 per hour, plus holiday pay.
- Sleeping shifts are paid at the National Living Wage.
