We are looking for enthusiastic Adult Support Worker for a well-established home near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. No experience is required as full training will be provided.

You will have seen in the past few weeks in the media how the Covid 19 virus is affecting vulnerable people in Stoke-on-Trent, we need your help and support now more than ever. Are you at home when you should be in university, or perhaps have you recently found yourself out of work and looking for a new job? This could be your time to shine by helping to support someone living with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health conditions throughout their day to day lives.

What are the duties of an Adult Support Worker?

As their Adult Support Worker, you will help residents to live independently in a residential setting. You will build and maintain a warm trusting relationship and encourage each adult to achieve their goals. You will also support them to enjoy a range of activities both in their home and in the local community. You will implement each person’s individual care plan and work towards agreed targets.
