Health and Social Care Jobs have a full time, permanent job vacancy for an experienced Children’s Home Manager based near the Coventry area of West Midlands

  • Up to £45,000 per annum (+ £3,000 annual bonus)
  • Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00 (+ flexibility)

The Provider

This is a small provider owning a low number of Children’s Residential Homes to provide a very person-centred, homely environment to children and young people aged between 8 and 17 years old.  Their focus is on each child and young person as an individual, ensuring each has a personalised care plan and tailored approach to their upbringing. 

The Home & Your Role

You will be the Registered Manager of a Children’s Home to 4 young people of both sexes age 14-16 years, who display signs of emotional and / or Behavioural difficulties (EBD).  You will take overall responsibility for the leadership and management of the home, supporting your team of Deputy Manager, Seniors and Residential Support Workers who all share the common goal of keeping the young people safe and well.  You will ensure the home meets all standards in compliance and quality, helping this home and its staff team thrive.

Essential Criteria

  • Level 5 Health & Social Care Children & Young People (or equivalent)
  • Over 2 years’ experience working in a management role within a children’s residential home
  • Experience supporting children and young people with EBD
  • Experience of Safeguarding, Ofsted and relevant regulations.
