Senior Children’s Residential Support Worker, Wolverhampton

£23,000 - £28,000 per annum DOE (inclusive if sleep-in)

Full-time, 40-hours per week, permanent contracts available

We are looking for enthusiastic Senior Residential Support Worker’s living close to the Wolverhampton area of West Midlands. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be a part of a children’s home and play a key role in creating a positive future for children. This is a small, mixed sex home for children and young people with emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

As their Senior Support Worker, you will ensure that the young people’s needs are recognised and exceeded. You will work as a team to ensure that the home provides a safe and sensitive environment for the young people to flourish and maintain their goals. You will help them overcome difficulties and provide guidance in education, training and employment. You will also be key in providing guidance to your team including supervison, leading shifts and ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to. 

You will need to be available to work earlies, lates, sleeps and weekends so need to be fully flexible for this role.

What experience and qualifications are required?

  • It is essential that you have experience working with children or young adults
  • It is essential that you hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent;
  • It is essential you have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • It is essential you are over the age of 22.
