Senior Support Worker, New Malden

£10.50 - £11.00 per hour DOE with paid breaks

We are looking for a Senior Support Worker living close to the New Malden area of South West London. Do you have experience supporting young adults with learning disabilities and supervising a staff team? If so, we could have an exciting opportunity for you.

This is a residential service for young adults aged 18-30 with severe learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviours. They have a fantastic reputation, with a vision to deliver high quality, person centred care, achieving positive outcomes and achievement for the young adults they support. We are looking for an inspirational leader who can inspire and motivate our team. This is a truly rewarding job where you can make a positive difference to a young adult’s life but not only that you can play an instrumental part in their future.

What experience will you need?

  • Experience supporting young adults with learning disabilities is essential;
  • You will also have experience in a supervisory/senior role for at least 6 months;
  • You will hold a Level 3 Health and Social Care (Adults);
  • A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle is also desirable;
  • You will need to be available to work full time on a rota including 7am-3pm and 2pm-10pm shifts;
  • This will include weekend working also on a rota basis.
