Senior Support Worker, Hull

£18,915 per annum + benefits + expenses

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week  

We are looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker living close to the Hull area of East Riding.

This role will involve some travel within Yorkshire/Humberside region and the occasional overnight stay.

You could join a wonderful charity who improve the lives of people living with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. Founded over 30 years ago by a group of parents who were bound by a common goal of wanting the best for their children. As their Senior Support Worker, you will be joining their new Transitions team. You will facilitate the transition of complex referrals into their services. You will support individuals in their current service provision and provide support to transition into their new accommodation. You will assess the needs of the individual to ensure the best possible care is provided at all times. But most of all you will making a difference every day to peoples’ lives which is an amazing feeling.

What skills & experience are required?

You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Social Care qualification. You will have experience of working with individuals with challenging behaviours and complex needs. It would also be ideal if you have relevant experience in transitions and setting up new services. It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
