We are looking for a Senior Support Worker living close to the Taunton, Yeovil or Bridgwater areas of South West Somerset.  (This job is ideal for a Support Worker looking for the next step in their career)


This job vacancy is located in a town located between Taunton, Yeovil, Bridgwater, Honiton and Lyme Regis area’s.  Honiton is 23 Minutes away, Taunton is 22 Mins Away, Yeovil is 23 Mins Away, Bridgwater is 32 mins away and Lyme Regis is 33 Mins Away.

You would be working within a cluster of Supported Living Flats / houses that accommodate up to nine individuals all of whom have very mild Learning Disabilities.  This is a thriving, busy service and a very positive staff team to be joining.

The Job Vacancy

The Service has a staff team of 18, your role would be to support the Team Manager with the day to day running of the service.  Mentoring the staff team, dealing with queries, supervising the team and looking after the staff rotas.

£9.72 per Hour plus Sleep in Allowance

80% Support 20% Supervisory

What experience & qualifications would be required as their Senior Support Worker?

  • Having your level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as they would help you achieve that qualification;
  • You will have a minimum of 1 Years’ experience working with individuals living with Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • You will be an experienced Support Worker who is ready for the next step in their career and ready to make the step up into a Senior role.
