We are looking for a Senior Support Worker who is looking to progress and become a Deputy Service Manager close to the Hereford area of Herefordshire.

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider of Supported Living and Residential care for adults with Mental Health conditions, Learning Disabilities, and other complex needs. It would be ideal for a Senior Support Worker or Team Leader with experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health conditions and who is ready for the next step in their career.

This permanent job vacancy is located about a 5-minute commute from the centre of Hereford but is also only a 20-minute commute from Leominster via the A49, or 35-minute commute from Ledbury via the A4103.

  • £24K per annum.

The Provider
You would be working for one of the UK’s leading providers of adult Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Supported Living, and this will be a fantastic opportunity to work as Deputy Manager. This is an organisation with over 25-years’ experience, and they believe that they can create a world where everyone has the chance to live independently and live the best possible life they can. They aspire to develop ways to inspire hope and belief that every person can take control of their own life and there is life beyond disabilities.

In your role, you will help lead a flat scheme for 16 residents living with Mental Health conditions and drug and alcohol addictions. We are looking for a Senior Support Worker /Team Leader who is experienced, calm under pressure, eager to learn and develop, and someone with strong people skills to build relationships with both clients and the team.

Criteria
  • Minimum Health & Social Care Level 3, but willing to obtain Level 4 or 5.
  • Experience & knowledge supporting adults living with Learning Disabilities or Mental Health.
  • Previous experience in a Senior/Supervisor/Team Leader role within the sector.
  • Car Driver ideal.
