We are looking for a talented Service Manager (Learning Disabilities) living close to the York area of North Yorkshire to join a wonderful charity who improve the lives of people living with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and complex needs.

You could join a wonderful charity who improve the lives of people living with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. They were founded over 30 years ago by a group of parents who wanted to make a difference. They wanted to provide a service that meets the needs of all the people they support, allowing them to achieve so many of their aspirations than they had dared to dream was possible.

As their Service Manager, you will be pivotal in the daily running of the service, ensuring that all the care and support provided is of the highest standard and in line with current legislation and regulations. You will ensure that specialised care is provided to everyone, meeting each of their individual needs. You will oversee 10 service users who are living in their own homes requiring specific complex support.

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • You will previous experience in a management/supervisory role;
  • You will hold Level 4 Health and Social Care, or equivalent, and ideally hold level 5 in Leadership & Management;
  • It is essential that you have a background in a Learning Disabilities or Mental Health setting;  
  • It is essential that you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle.
