Support Worker, Faversham
£10.50 per hour
12-hour day shifts, 08.00-20.00, weekends only (this could increase over coming months)
We are looking for a female Support Worker living close to the Faversham area of Kent to support our client, a young lady with severe physical and cognitive impairments due to sustaining a brain injury. This job would be working weekend hours, and occasional afternoon/evening shifts in the Sittingbourne area.
This role may also be considered for a possible job share and an alternate weekend working pattern.
We are seeking a patient, caring and supportive individual with the enthusiasm and passion to support a young girl with her personal care needs, nutrition, mobility and therapy needs, and to also accompany her and her father on outings on the weekends.

What experience and skills are required to be a Support Worker?
- It is essential that you hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent;
- Previous experience/knowledge in a similar role or working with individuals with brain injuries is desirable;
- Full driving licence with one year’s driving experience is also essential;
- Successful DBS Disclosure and referencing required.
You will need to be an empathetic, highly motivated individual that is willing to learn. You will need to possess good organisational skills but above all you will require a strong desire to make a difference to a person’s life.
