Support Worker, Thorne, Doncaster

£8.21 per hour + amazing benefits + paid DBS

Guaranteed Hours, full, part and bank hours available

We are looking for wonderful Support Workers living close to the Doncaster/Thorne area of South Yorkshire to join a wonderful charity who improve the lives of people living with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

As their Support Worker, you will be supporting young adults in their Supported Living and Residential services. You will be helping individuals to take part in their interests and activities and help them find what they are passionate about. You will teach them life skills and may also support with personal care when required. What skills & experience are required?

It would be beneficial if you have previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours, however all their employees receive excellent induction training for the role. However, it is essential that have a commitment to providing great care to the people you support and a willingness to learn and be part of a special team.
