Monday – Friday, 9:15am – 3pm

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic female Support Worker living close to the Biddenden area of Kent. You would be supporting a female client living with a brain injury in her own home and out in the community.

This role is based in the Tenterden area but is a 12-minute commute from Biddenden.

Change a life

This will be more than a job. This is an amazing role where you will make a positive difference in the life of this lady. She sustained a brain injury and although she has made an excellent recovery, she does require support with her daily life to enhance her life. Our client will need assistance with her day to day activities including shopping for her and her family, preparing meals, doing housework, attending appointments, assisting with personal care where required and also helping her to continue to do the leisure activities that she loves and live life to the full. Our client will work with you to prioritise and organise tasks.

This is a truly rewarding role where you can make a positive impact in a person’s life and to also work for an organisation with a genuine desire to make a difference in their clients’ lives. We understand the value of a positive working rapport with both our clients and their families, so we always adopt a supportive team approach to care. There are also excellent personal development opportunities within this role.

Please note that we are unable to accept applications from pet owners due to severe allergies within the family.

What qualifications & experience are required to be a Support Worker?

  • It is essential that you have previous experience of working in a care/support role;
  • Experience/knowledge of Brain Injuries will be beneficial;
  • A full, clean driving licence and successful enhanced DBS disclosure are essential;
  • Above all, you will have a positive, empathetic personality and a passion for making a difference in a person’s life.
