Support Worker (Complex Care), Leeds

£8.71 - £9.21 per hour + benefits

Guaranteed hours, full, part and bank hours available

We are looking for compassionate Support Workers living close to the Leeds area of West Yorkshire to join a wonderful team providing care to adults living in their own homes with complex needs and mental health conditions.

You could join a wonderful charity who improve the lives of people living with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. Founded over 30 years ago by a group of parents who were bound by a common goal of wanting the best for their children. They wanted to provide a service that meets the needs of their children and allow them to achieve so many of their aspirations than they had dared to dream was possible.

As their Support Worker, you will be passionate about providing the highest standards of care, but you will be passionate about supporting adults with disabilities and challenging behaviours. You will help improve their quality of life and achieve goals. But most of all you will making a difference every day to peoples’ lives which is an amazing feeling.

What skills & experience are required?

It is essential that you have experience working with individuals living with mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. You will also have knowledge of implementing strategies for individuals expressing their needs through challenging behaviours. You will also hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
