Training Manager Health & Social Care, Croydon

£30K - £35K per annum DOE

Full-time, 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday

We are looking for a talented Training Manager living close to the Croydon area of South London to deliver and evaluate a Health & Social care training programme. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family run service built around wonderful values.

There is no travelling involved in this role, you would be based in the training centre. This role is a short commute from Croydon, Wallington, Sutton, Coulsdon and surrounding areas.

You could be joining a leading provider of homecare and support services to older adults in the area. They were formed over 15-years ago based on the owner’s own experience of caring for her daughter. They felt there was a need to provide a care service that puts people at the heart of the service rather than profit. They run 6 domiciliary care services as well as several extra services. Everyone who works in the service has a passion for ensuring only the highest standards of support are provided at all times. 

As their Training Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and evaluation of the care certificate induction, refresher and development of all staff. You will plan and implement an effective training curriculum, preparing training materials and managing the training budget. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the staff team are trained to the highest standard and develop to be the best they can be.

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • You will hold a Training qualification such as PTTLS, KTTLS or DTTLS;
  • You will have the ability to train all mandatory health & social care induction and refresher;
  • Above all, you will be a great communicator with the ability to effectively deliver training to a variety of audiences. You will be a confident individual who is highly organised and enthusiastic.
