Job description

Full-time, Registered Service Manager (Young Adults), permanent job vacancy, Bristol, Avon.

This job is located a short 15-minute commute from the centre of Bristol via the A38 and Redland Road. The role may also suit candidates living in other parts of Bristol such as Long Ashton, Filton, Clifton, and surrounding areas.

  • £35K - £40.5K per annum DOE + bonus scheme.

The Provider & Home

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s biggest providers of residential and education care and support for children and young people living with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Learning Disabilities, and complex needs. They have an impressive network of Residential Homes, Supported Living services, schools, and colleges, where all their talented teamwork with specialists to enable every young person to develop their abilities and create a positive future. They encourage choice, independence, enabling each young person to grow in confidence and flourish in adult life.  

As their Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a Supported Living and learning service, ensuring that the highest standard of support is provided to the young adult residents. The service is rated Outstanding by the CQC and is home to 7 residents aged over 19. Your role is key in leading the behaviour management programmes for each resident and ensuring that the team are trained and supported. You will be a role model, a strong leader, and someone who cascades their passion for the sector in all that they do.


  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent or working towards.
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience in a management position within the residential sector.
  • Excellent knowledge/experience of Learning Disabilities, SEN, or Complex Needs conditions & CQC requirements.
  • Proven experience of managing/supervising a team.
