We are recruiting for a Housekeeper to be part of a specialist school who provide education and care for children aged 6-19 with disabilities and profound communication difficulties.

This job vacancy is based about a 20-minute commute from Cambridge.

Salary: £9.65 per hour.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 39-hours per week, Monday – Friday (flexible start time).

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s biggest providers of specialist education and support for young adults and children living with Learning Disabilities and Special Educational Needs (SEN). They have modern, specialist facilities, and it is an amazing place to work.

As their Housekeeper, you would be part of our friendly and enthusiastic team and would be working at a specialist school. You will part of the Housekeeping/Domestic team responsible for the maintaining the cleanliness throughout the school. Your role will involve cleaning and mopping the floors, dusting and polishing, vacuuming, monitoring supplies and ordering more when required, emptying bins, and reporting any necessary repairs.

Criteria

• Experience as a Cleaner/Housekeeper – not essential.
• High standards for cleanliness – essential.
• Good attention to detail & able to work as part of a team and on your own – essential.
• Good time management skills - essential.
