We are recruiting for a Children Support Worker to join a special, independent residential school supporting children living with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

The job is located about a 20-minute commute from Ellesmere Port. The service is close to public transport routes.

Salary: £21,350 - £25,000 per annum DOE.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, set 2-week rota.

We are recruiting on behalf of a residential service for up to 30-children and young people aged between 4-19 living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours. They have created the perfect for environment for the children and young people to achieve their aspirations and reach their full potential. Decorated by award winning decorators, it is a fantastic place to work and for the children to flourish.

As a Support Worker, you will join a highly skilled team supporting the children on a 1:1 basis. The service is 30-bedded and set across 4 properties, all next to each other and all set in their own grounds. You will help support the needs of the children/young people, creating a safe and nurturing environment.


  • Experience of working within the Social Care or Children’s sector – essential.
  • NVQ Level 3 in either Residential Childcare or Children and Young Peoples Workforce, Health & Social Care, or Child Development – essential.
