We are looking for a Registered Children’s Home Manager for the Macclesfield area of Cheshire.

Registered Childrens Home Manager

We are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee a 5-bedded home for children aged 11-18.

Location: Chester, Cheshire.

Salary: £50K per annum starting salary + bonus (increasing to £60K per annum) + relocation bonus.

The job is based in Preston, Lancashire, but there is an £8K relocation package available. Initially you will take registration and mentor the Deputy Manager to take over registration after 18-months while you progress into an Operations role and oversee several homes.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time hours.

  • Within the last five years, worked for at least 2 years in Deputy Manager job or above.
  • Worked for at least one year in a role requiring supervision and management.

Residential Support Worker

Full-time, permanent, Residential Support Worker, close to Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

The service is based close to the centre of Chester and is close to public transport routes. The school is a 5-minute walk from the Chester Bus Interchange and a 15-minute walk from the train station. If you have your own vehicle, then the service is a 20-minute commute from Ellesmere Port via the M53.

You must have experience of working within the Social Care or Children’s Sector. You may have experience working in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, residential childcare service, or a nursery? What is important is being enthusiastic, proactive, and having a passion for working within the sector.

  • £21,350 - £25,000 per annum DOE.
  • Full-time hours, 37.5-hours per week.
  • Shifts – 2 earlies, 3 lates, & 1 long shift every other weekend (8am – 10pm).
  • Set 2-week rota so can fit around your life.
  • Night shifts are 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
  • Comprehensive training package.
