The Service
We are recruiting on behalf of a newly opened, special, independent residential school with aspirations to be the very best in the UK. Their day and residential school are for up to 30 Children and young adults aged between 4 – 19 living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours. Set within a newly refurbished, historic setting, they have created the perfect for environment for the children and young people to achieve their aspirations and reach their full potential. Decorated by award winning decorators, it is not only a fantastic place for the children to enjoy and to flourish in but is also a lovely place to work too.
Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will join a highly skilled team supporting the children on a 1:1 basis. The service is 30-bedded and set across 4 properties, all next to each other and all set in their own grounds. You will help support the needs of the children/young people, creating a safe and nurturing environment in which they can flourish. We are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to oversee a 5-bedded home for children aged 11-18.
Location: Chester, Cheshire.
Salary: £50K per annum starting salary + bonus (increasing to £60K per annum) + relocation bonus.
The job is based in Preston, Lancashire, but there is an £8K relocation package available. Initially you will take registration and mentor the Deputy Manager to take over registration after 18-months while you progress into an Operations role and oversee several homes.
