Waking Night Support Worker

We are recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to join a special residential provider supporting children with disabilities.

Location: Chester, Cheshire.

Salary: £21,350 - £25,000 per annum DOE.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 40-hours per week.

We are recruiting on behalf of a newly opened, special, independent residential school with aspirations to be the best in the UK. They support children and young adults aged between 4 – 19 living with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours. Set within a newly refurbished, historic setting, decorated by award winning decorators, they have created the perfect for environment for the children.

As their Waking Night Support Worker, you will join a highly skilled team to maintain supervision for the children during the night, providing a calm and relaxing environment. You will help support the needs of the children/young people during the night, helping them maintain a good sleep routine.

Criteria

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or Children & Young Peoples Workforce – essential.
• Experience of working within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, or residential childcare service – essential.
• Being enthusiastic, proactive, & having a passion for working within the sector – essential.
