Are you looking for a chance to be part of a flourishing team in a charity that is making a real difference to the lives of people affected by eating disorders? By Joining our Training Team, you can support the promotion and development of our training services and make a difference to the lives of our service users.
Beat is experiencing a period of significant development as our services and influence expand and demand for our support rises. This change was underway before the coronavirus changed all our lives, but the pandemic has accelerated everything. Notably, our helpline is supporting three times as many people as pre-pandemic and demand for our carer and professional training courses has increased similarly.
Since the pandemic, our training services moved online, supporting carers and professionals over expert-led Zoom sessions.
Our training sessions are designed to increase knowledge and build confidence for those supporting people with eating disorders.
You will help us to co-ordinate the bookings of training, workshops and peer support groups, including encouraging eating disorders services to refer into those services.
The postholder will process evaluation forms, ensuring they are processed in an accurate and timely manner ready for reporting purposes and contribute to producing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on training activity for commissioners based on agreed reporting requirements per contract.
We are looking for someone with excellent project management, organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise work and the ability to work independently using own initiative within set guidelines.
