Support Worker, Care Supervisor / Manager - Looking for a change

£22-26K per annum DOE, Plus Bonus
 

Job Description

Are you currently working in the Social Care Sector and looking for a complete change?  A change where you get to use your Social Care Skills and knowledge, but no longer have to work unsociable hours?  This is a full time permanent job vacancy office based in Ulverston, Cumbria.  This position would also suit someone relocating to Cumbria, and is also within easy access to Ulverston Train Station and the main bus stops.  This job vacancy is also commutable from Barrow in Furness, Dalton, Millom, Grange Over Sands, Newby Bridge and surrounding villages.

Please note:  You do need to have some Social Care Background to apply.

Key Information

  • Salary: £22-26K per annum, DOE, Rising After Probation
  • Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5pm, 30 Minutes Lunch
  • Plus Bonus
  • Previous Social Care Experience is essential.
  • Excellent Telephone Manner & Computer Skills.

The Role

  • We are looking for someone to join our very busy Social Care Team to pre-screen Support Workers and Care Assistants applying for positions we are advertising on behalf Care Providers Nationally.  Your duties would include:
  • Pre-screening / chatting with the applicant supplying them with information about the job vacancy and the company.
  • Determining their suitability for the position based on the answers they give you to our interview questions.
  • Typing up interview notes.
  • Uploading candidates details and adding them to the database.
  • Submitting their application to the care provider.
  • Organising interviews.
  • Speaking to care providers who you are recruiting for, keeping them updated with progress.
  • Following up applications.
