We are recruiting for a Children’s Residential Team Leader to join a Children’s Home provider with an exceptional track record in providing therapeutic care to children.

Location: Kendal, Cumbria.

Salary: £23K - £29K per annum DOE (includes sleeps) + benefits.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time hours.

We are recruiting on behalf of a provider who has over 20-years’ experience in helping to turn around the lives of children who have suffered abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or extreme trauma in a therapeutic manner. They have created a safe and warm environment where they provide excellent education on site to help the children with everyday life skills and feel a sense of belonging.

As Residential Team Leader, you will join a residential home for up to 13 children rated Good by OFSTED. Yor role will include providing supervision and mentoring to your team. You will help to create a safe environment for the young people, helping them to grow socially and emotionally, teach them life skills, and be part of fun activities such as trips out.

Criteria

• Level 3 Children’s Residential Childcare – essential.
• Experience of working in a Children’s residential setting – essential.
• Full driving licence – essential.
