Residential Support Worker

We are recruiting for a Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a Children’s Home provider with an exceptional track record in providing therapeutic care to children.

Location: Kendal, Cumbria.

Salary: £19,650 - £22,1129 per annum DOE + £65 per sleep.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, rota pattern, day & night shifts available.

We are recruiting on behalf of a provider who has over 20-years’ experience in helping to turn around the lives of children who have suffered abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or extreme trauma in a therapeutic manner.

As Residential Support Worker, you will join a residential home for up to 10 children rated Good by OFSTED. You will help to create a safe environment for the young people, helping them to grow socially and emotionally, teach them life skills, and be part of fun activities such as trips out.

Criteria

• Experience of working with Children in a Residential Care Setting – essential.
• Level 3 Children & Young People / Children’s Residential Care/Workforce or be willing to work towards.
• Car Driver - essential.
