Children’s Residential Support Worker, permanent job vacancy, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Children’s Residential Support Worker who is happy to commute to Grange. The role is easily accessible from Ulverston, Kendal, Milnthorpe, Barrow-In-Furness, Dalton in Furness, Newby Bridge, or surrounding areas.

• £19,700 - £22,000 per annum, plus sleep-ins at £65.
• Full-time hours, days, and nights available.
• Days – 3-day rota, 7:30m – 10pm & 10am – 10pm.
• Nights - 4 on and 4 off shift patterns, 10pm – 7:30am.
• Must have previous experience of working with Children in a Residential Care Setting.
• Ideally Hold Level 3 Children & Young People / Children’s Residential Care/Workforce or be willing to work towards.
• Car Driver essential.

The Children’s Home

This a unique opportunity to work for a children’s home as a Residential Support Worker and help turn around the lives of children who have suffered abuse, neglect, sexual abuse, or extreme trauma in a therapeutic manner. This Residential Home is home to 8 children, rated Outstanding by OFSTED, all the children are under the age of 12 and will need support for usually up to 2/2.5 years until they are ready to move back with their families or foster parents.
