We are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager to take up an exciting opportunity with a children’s residential provider like no other.
Location: Kendal, Cumbria.
The role will be based about a 35-minute commute from Kendal via the A685.
Salary: £54,500 per annum (includes car allowance) + benefits.
Job Type: Permanent, full-time.
We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading providers of residential care and education for children who have suffered trauma and exploitation. Their homes and services are built around the children’s needs, providing specialist care to help build towards a positive future. With several homes in the north, they provide safety to the young people, but also use the tranquillity of the great outdoors to offer adventure, boost esteem and confidence.
As Registered Manager, you will oversee 4 houses and a team of 25 care and support colleagues. You will provide support and leadership to ensure the best outcomes for the children, so ideally, we are looking for someone who has managed a children’s home previously. You will be key in organising the effective running of the home and the development of the young people.
