Senior Night Care Assistant

We are recruiting for a Senior Night Care Assistant to join a residential care home providing dementia care to older adults.

Location: Kendal, Cumbria

This job vacancy is based close to Grange-over-Sands, so it is about a 25-minute commute from Kendal.

Salary: £11.80 - £12.05 per hour.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent, 30-44-hours per week.

We are recruiting on behalf of a family-run care home with over 20-years’ experience providing residential and dementia care. There is a warm and homely feeling at the home and the standard of care to residents is always to the highest standard emphasised by their Good rating with CQC.  

As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you will ensure the welfare of residents during the night/evening. You will oversee the night care team and ensure that all relevant duties are being carried out. You will provide guidance and leadership to the team as well being part of the on-call rota. You must have experience as a Senior/Supervisor.

• Increment of £0.10 per hour for NVQ Level 2.
• Increment of £0.15 per hour for NVQ 3 Level 3.
• Bonus of £2 per hour for exceeding contracted hours.
• 20 pence per mile commuting fuel allowance for journeys over 15 miles.
• Starting bonus of £250 (if staying after 13 probation period).
• Funding towards driving lessons up to £500.
• Funding towards college.
