Permanent, Full-Time job vacancy, Registered Area Manager (Learning Disabilities), Derby, Derbyshire, to oversee Supported Living/Residential services across the region.  

The job could also suit someone living in Chesterfield (40-minute commute/28-miles via A38), Swadlincote (35-minute/15-miles via A38) and surrounding areas of Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, or Staffordshire.

  • £34K - £40K per annum DOE.
  • Overseeing 4/5 Supported Living/Residential services.
  • Level 5 Leadership and Management or relevant Health & Social Care qualification.
  • Experience working with adults living with Mental Health/Learning Disabilities.
  • Experience in leading a Supported Living/Residential service.
  • Proven track record of service management & promoting continuous improvement.
  • Full driving licence essential.

We are recruiting on behalf of an organisation who have been established since the early 90s and have grown to be a national provider of support to people living with Learning Disabilities and Autism. Their core ethos is to empower the people they support to have more choice and greater control over their own lives. Your Role

This Registered Area Manager job could be an exciting opportunity for the right candidate. You would be overseeing these new services. It would mean you would be leading the services from the start, setting the standards and values, and put your own stamp on the services.  

The services are currently at zero occupancy and initially you would be hands on to get the services up and running, providing leadership and mentorship to the services. You would start recruiting your team across the area, support the day-to-day running, and ensuring the level of support is always of a high-quality. Once established, your role will then be more operational and strategic, growing the services and leading them into the future. Could you….

  • Act as Registered Manager for the Accommodation Services?
  • Work to ensure that services good or excellent standards at inspection?
  • Lead and coordinate the services to ensure full occupancy?
  • Ensure all policies & procedures are implemented & followed?
