Job description

We are recruiting for a Registered Children’s Home Manager close to the Derby area of Derbyshire.

This a permanent job vacancy and is a 15-minute commute from the centre of Derby via the A601 and Burton Road. The role may also suit candidates in Burton-upon-Trent as it is a 15-minute commute via the A38, or Swadlincote which is 27-minutes away.

Exciting opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new 4-bedded Children’s Home which is ready to open. There is a full staff-team in place, it is decorated to a high standard, now we just need a Registered Manager so they can register with OFSTED and open the home. The home will support children aged 8-17 living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). So, if you’re an experienced Manager looking for a new opportunity or an experienced Deputy looking for the next step, then we would love to speak to you.

  • £40K - £46K per annum DOE.
  • Full-time, Monday – Friday.
  • Joining bonus after successful probation.

The Provider

This is a special opportunity for which we are recruiting. This is a newly formed company who have a simple but admirable goal, to provide a safe haven for young people to live in and flourish.   • Experience working with children with Learning Disabilities, EBD, Mental Health conditions – essential.
  • Minimum of 4-years’ experience in a Senior/Management role in Residential setting – essential.
  • Level 5 Health & Social Leadership & Management (Children) or willing to work towards.
  • Good OFSTED knowledge.
  • Car Drivers - essential.
